Human Resources Manager

A major Food Service/Catering company is seeking a bright, resourceful Human Resources Manager to join their team.  This is a dynamic role which will work with a great team of people in a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the HR department, manage and guide the HR Team. 


• Supervise and conduct high volume recruitment.


• Manage employee relations, encouraging an employee-oriented, high performance culture, emphasizing productivity, quality and team work.


• Manage all communication and contacts with the union representatives, monitoring and administering disciplinary actions where necessary.


• Monitor and advise on legal aspects within Human Resources.


• Supervise and conduct administrative projects to improve structure within HR department. 


• Handle special projects and employee events (birthday parties, award ceremonies, etc.).

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience within Human Resources in a leading role.


• Bachelor’s Degree required.


• Experience working within a Hospitality, Food Service or Manufacturing industry required. 


• Extensive knowledge of US employment, labor laws and regulations.


• Experience working within a union environment.


• Fluent in English, a second language is beneficial (Spanish).
